Welcome to the Cambridgeshire Community Archives Network

The Cambridgeshire Community Archive Network (CCAN) currently has 48 digital community archives. So far groups have added over 15,000 fascinating records. Explore further following the instructions below.



Take a look....

To see the whole CCAN collection click on the Images button above. Clicking on an Image will open it and reveal more options. Alternatively, click the Search button and type in the key words. Some records have Hotspots, hovering your mouse arrow over a yellow spot reveals extra information, clicking on a blue centred spot takes you to another record with the same theme. Images with the letter ‘T’ or the letter ‘A’ beneath have additional text or audio clips attached.



Finding a group...

Click on the Places button above. There is a contents list of five pages with groups listed alphabetically. Click the Select button next to the group you are interested in. Choose Images or Search to start exploring.

 

To join a Group and Contribute...

Click on the Places button above and on Select next to the group you are interested in. Click the Contribute button on the group’s homepage and follow the ‘Apply to become a contributor’ instructions.

CCAN is grateful to anyone who has taken photographs appearing on this web site but who could not be traced despite our best efforts, and are therefore unacknowledged.   Any copyright holder wishing to query material on the web site is invited to contact us at info@ccan.co.uk .We will be happy to remove any material if requested to do so by the copyright holder. If you appear in an image and are not happy to appear on the site, please contact us and we will remove the relevant image.
