The Cambridgeshire Community Archives Network (CCAN) will host 50 digital community archives by the end of 2008. So far groups have added over 10,000 fascinating records. Explore further by following the instructions below.
Take a look...
To see the whole CCAN collection click on the
Thumbnails
button above. Clicking on a Thumbnail will open it and reveal more options. Alternatively, click the
Search
button and type in key words. Some records have
Hotspots
, hovering your mouse arrow over a yellow spot reveals extra information, clicking on a blue centered spot takes you to another record with the same theme. Thumbnails with a letter
'T'
or letter
'A'
beneath have additional text or audio clips attached.
Finding a group...
Click on the
Group List
button above. There is a contents list of five pages with groups listed alphabetically. Click the
Select
button next to the group you are interested in. Choose
Thumbnails
or
Search
to start exploring

To join a Group and Contribute...
Click on the
Group List
button above and on
Select
next to the group you are interested in. Click the '
C'
for Contribute button on the group's homepage and follow the 'Apply to become a contributor' instructions.
