Welcome to the Woodditton and Saxon Street community archives.
Location The two villages of Woodditton and Saxon Street are approximately one mile apart and are situated approximately three and half miles south-east of Newmarket in the parish of Woodditton.
Environment A mixture of agriculture land, woodland and horse racing studs surrounds the villages. A part of the southern boundary is the Anglo-Saxon earthworks, Devil's Ditch, which is crossed by the old Roman road - the Icknield Way.
