A bit about Stretham...
Stretham lies to the south of Ely at the crossroads of the A1123 and the A10. It has a Perpendicular church and a cross which is thought to date from about 1400. The Stretham Beam Engine, built in 1831, is a rare example of 19th century pumping engines used in Fen drainage.
