Cambridgeshire Roots

Cambridgeshire Roots was an innovative multicultural project, funded by The Heritage Lottery Fund and Cambridgeshire County Council. Primary schools from across Cambridgeshire took part in this 18-month exploration of the county’s cultural roots and the different influences that are helping to shape future identities.  The project brought history to life through real learning, involvement and research, each of the 14 schools learning about three different cultures, including the local traditions of the Fens and compared these traditions with those of other cultures.
