A bit about Chesterton...
Chesterton is on the river Cam, downstream from Cambridge. The many pubs in Chesterton were a favourite refuelling place for the bargees when the river was the main transport route.
Chesterton Tower - probably dates from between 1220 and 1250. It was the home of the Proctor who was appointed by the Abbey of Vercilli which is near Milan in Italy.

Pye - in the 1920s Pye developed valve radio technology and produced the Rising Sun Wireless Set. Pye went on to be a global supplier of radio systems.
